I am going to begin with, "I believe" so i'm definatly out of charachter on this one.
I believe that our individual beliefs greatly influence the form our individual lives take, and that our collective beliefs decide what kind of a world we live in.

By George I think he's got it!!!
A lot of my "spiritual" friends and associates recoil in horror and disgust when I announce to them that I don't accept the concept of karma, i.e. - you do a bad turn and a bad turn will be done unto you (yeah right).
Karma is too simplistic. Childish 'keep-em-in-line' hoo haa.
Think of it more like a mirror. Stand in front of a mirror and smile at yourself, and I mean really smile, teeth and all. You will soon feel better and generally more cheerful.
Now frown, scowl and generally look as unpleasant as you possibly can, after a few moments you will begin to feel slightly unhappy and generally quite negative*.
This is a very simple way to describe how life works. It's like a mirror. It reflects back what you show to it.
So if you show it a positive, cheerful optimistic face - that's what you will see back, if you show it a moody, angry negative face, it will reflect that back also.
Now I'm not saying you need to be constantly smiling and annoyingly cheerful and walk around saying good morning to the daffodils like Julie Andrews on crack, the point here is what you give out will reflect back.
And it's not right or wrong, if you want a life where people generally don't like you and treat you mean then show that scowelly face and that's what you will get.
Some people are happy being miserable.
*N.B. It is advised that you make sure you are quite alone in the house before you start smiling and frowning at yourself in a reflective surface.

These are outward actions.
What about the way we think?

Same principle, in fact more so. I think your attitude reflects more back to you than your actions.

So what do we learn from this then.
We agree that the mind is a powerful influencer of material physical life, and to take it on a stage or should I say"emphasise this"
I believe it affects the material world that we occupy. Would you agree or disagree.
