Country pathwayTo walk down this country lane
Fee from sorrow,free from pain
The daffodills bright and gay
Dance in the breeze,as i pass their way.
Bright and warm is the sun this day
The birds the fields the very ground i tred
Seems happy today.
The blanket of magnolia petals bedeck the ground
Like conffetee from some wedding found
Lambs from hillside high
And birds soar up in the sky.
In the voice of the birds that sing
Is the sweeter approach of the sound of spring
At the end of my days
Lay me down in natures untrodden ways.
