ConjurationIt was the way in olden times, for the workers of majik to summon or conjour imps and demons to do their bidding good or evil.
Was this real or just the imaginations of ignorant people running riot over their common senses.
Have any of you here had personal experience of this thing called conjuration?

I've had a similar experience. I'm currently working on a new thing whereby you create a 'psychic entity' to perform tasks.
I'm a bit crap at the moment and can only get my entities to perform very simple tasks as they don't seem to exist for very long.
I think this idea of 'conjuration' is proabably along similar lines.
The being that is 'summond' comes purely from the summoners' imagination and he/she creates it and feeds it with his/her own will and intent.
Basically it's another way of doing magick but instead of sending your intent and energy into the ether you keep it on the physical plane and charge it to carry out the task.
Anyone with a basic understanding of how magick works should be able to do it.
Like all forms of magick it's wide open to abuse in the sick minded and I dare say people use such things for negative purposes.

Not a new thing used a lot in chaos magic from what i have read, people creating entities to aid them in magical practices and also creating teacher entities, like a DIY spirit guide.

I really like the idea of a DIY spirit teacher.
It makes eminent sense to me and I think it would work really well.
The next stage is to realise that you know everything already and dispense with the need for teachers at all.
How about visualising yourself and asking questions?

I confess to dabbling in Goetia when I was a young whipper snapper.
I never achieved the success that our beloved cousins across the water, if they're to be believedm have done.
I didn't get fully formed entities and super magic insight within the first week of picking up a wand.
I got whispy shadows , I snesed very strong of prescence there, I always found answers to questions.
Ultimatley I decided toturn my attention to the classical meeting with " lucifer" fell into a drug induced stupour and held a very strange conversation with a young boy, older than a cherub, very innocent looking, I hav been unable to ascertain wether this was my higher conscioussness.
I could go on for hours, I'm currently rewriting all my old journals into my new, hefty tome, so i'm sure my memory will be clearer as I rewrite those... good old days.

Here it is;-
they're selling it at http://www.everywitchway.co.uk/products/details/2562.html
for 115 quid... not a good picture so I'll take another tonight. i intend to photo every page and pDF it, then upload it. The joys of not conforming to the decree of a coven eh
Some of my old books I haven't opened for over 20 years. It's great to read the naieve nature how It was. I broke one open that I sealed with wax, and old incence and spent candle wax stunk the room out.
The only downside to the book is the theban script surrounded the edges. Not sure I agree with the Theban/Witchcraft alphabet concept but anyway it says, Life on the path isn't a struggle as life on the path is learning for others, ......so it wasn't that bad a tenet.
The pages are all hand made like the old pages you could buy at wookey Hole printing press. well happy with it. expensive yes, but it is my testament to my workings so in that respect its bloody cheap. Writing it with a quill and ink purchased at Glastonbury abbey.

Can't say i have ever tried it myself (a bit frightening ) but have encountered people who claim to have created these beings, although some do stress about the dangers of such a thing. An entity would be a creation of both your concious and subconcious and yet by creating it, it would become a seperate entity in itself .
If it is true that we can create new entities by the power of our will and belief alone then what about other creatures like gods or even people, are you figment of my imagination and am i a figment of yours? Who thought up who first?

the whole manifest is imagined such that the original mind could comprehend itself or else it would remain still, unmoving and boundless.
In esscence I do create you as you create me, but essentially we're the same... brother

lol
Its an idea i want to believe and yet i'm seemingly too attached to these boundaries that divide and define us to accept it.

We are all responsible for our lives and that is the toughest thing to get across.
That is precisely what the occult teaches you.
