close to my heartThis is a subject close to my heart. I helped a friend research a book he was writting on Ley lines and got well and truly hooked.
Having read Watkins the old straight track, and Mitchels landmark book The view over Atlantis,I traveled to ancient sites at every opportunity. Carnac in France was amazing and here in the UK we have Many unique and enchanting sites.
These sacred places are our legacy and visiting them has for me become a spiritual experience akin to a pilgramage. Such is the power of the past and the old ones to draw us into thier web.
Tell me about the sites you have visited and your impresions and intuitions,or just plain old location and opinion will suffice.

Essex Hidden heritage !
aha! I knew i've heard your name before !!
as you know I mislaid my collection of leyline maps.
One set i got was from the chap who wrote that book. Do you know if he still sends them out? I've got his address somewhere but the book is a bit old now and i'm not sure if the maps will be the same price or wether he's at the address?
Also worth a browse is this site;-
http://www.megalithic.co.uk/search.php?country=1&county=36
which also has an interactive map of ancient stuff at this link too;-
