churchesMy mum has been going to spiritualist churches for years and a few times i have gone with her. on a few occasions I really enjoyed myself there and thought the mediums were brilliant but on other occasions i have felt that they were just making it up or cold reading. is it wrong to think like that about some mediums?

nope think what you like ,some do make things up and some are fake
some who are learning ,ie in initiall early stages of development are not always working within the power
id say in so far as cold reading ,you need to use your own judgement ,some do this as well

NO!!!!
In fact it's essential to think like that about ALL mediums.
There are charlatans in all walks of life and it's a useful tool to be able to pick them out.

Hi Scott, like you, I used to go to the 'spuggy' (no offense, thats what we called it... always!) church with my mum over the years and I think its natural that you would learn to 'pick up' via your intuition when say certain mediums were not as good as you would expect or even doing the 'cold reading' bit. I too think its necessary to use discernment when visiting mediums... as Raymond says, there are charletans out there just waiting to fool you. I too have felt the very same on many occasions.

I have had a couple of readings my self and unfortunately not that great .. so I fully get what you mean.. as a wise man once said to me .. don't judge the medium judge the message
