My story when I was three nearing four about a month off.....

We had not long moved to Australia from Ireland and were living in a migrant hostel with only one other family that spoke English (out of about 200 families). I found Australia hot and huge, we had been having trouble with bush fires and had been out during the days actually fighting them with branches.. very different to what I had known in Ireland..... It was at this time in my life that I first told someone I was able to see and hear see through people.

I was in bed and talking to the cowboy man Tom who came every evening he was large and wore a big cowboy hat he use to hang in the right corner of the room and we use to talk just about things that children talk about. He was outlined in colour like a neon light is the only way I can describe it. There were many others in my room there was a woman in a long gown that use to sit with two children she was neon white and black while the children were pink and red. When they spoke neon lights lit up the room it was like music flowing through the air that I could actually see.

My mother came in one night and asked who I was talking to and I told her Tom the cowboy I pointed to him and the others but she couldn't see him, She took my temp and decided I must be ill... Thus began a year of test and doctors. I no longer see in neon I haven't done since I was about 6. Nothing was ever found to be wrong with me at all other than I ran at a high body temp all the time.

I again told someone I was able to see spirits about 6 years ago as I really felt I must be mad... I still run at a high temp and when I work as a medium it rising a lot... It seems that opening up my body feels like it is burning It is not uncomfortable at all I actually hardly feel it I believe it is just the energy and the vibrations ...

I have always wondered if others have reported that they have experienced seeing spirits in that way or not.. it was more than seeing an aura as the outline of the spirits was really in neon

Wow Evergreen, it must have been fabulous to see all those colours that way?! When I was in a development circle I saw in neon one night.. we were doing an experiment and a child spirit turned up and I saw the top of his head and shoulders in neon electric blue (thats the only way I could describe it). Such A lovely colour. It must have been fantastic to see other colours in neon?! 8)

Jacky you have made my day year whatever...lol I have never heard of anyone doing this before I am so glad you owned up to it and that I did too..LOL there have been moments when I too have thought that i might have just been ill...LOL

To be honest, I never thought about using the word 'neon' to describe the colour that I saw. It fits perfectly. I would normally have described it as being very bright without hurting my eyes and very vibrant, but from now on, I'll be using the word Neon

I have two friends who used to see sound as colour when they were young The would say it's the blue lady or the red man for the Postlady and the Baker for example. I have also read somewhere that this is considered a medical condition so whether it is or not it must be more common that we realise.

I was speaking to a christian friend one day and he confided in me that his father claimed to see colours all around people.. When I told him about Auras he was so happy and said dad will be so relieved.

Another good reason for forums like this. I think.

well there you go much more common I thought is had to be as it is not likely only one person would experience something in this world.. I am so glad to hear about others I have not really told people that much about it because of the reaction from my parents and doctors :D ...

I do see auras but this is totally different as I think you all understand.

As for the music and sound yes that was also the case I use to see the music in neon not sure about it being a medical condition though as I am wary of that diagnosis after my own experiences, it may be something defined my the nedical faculity as a condition but I wonder if it is something we lose as we become "normal"?

I wonder why the phenomena disappears as people grow older.

I think that sometimes the logiacl side of the brain begins to overpower the creative side of the brain...

I think it is the creative person or mind that pushes things in humanity.. logic is great in moderation

And yet I think it is the logical mind that allows us to make use of the creativity and put it into practice.

yes definitely snippets of real logic are what help us to show the creativity we feel or know inside us.. yes I know that throughout history things have been achieved because people have defied logic...

The need to allow creativity to flow without thought is evident ina few areas that jump to mind instantly.. many forms of art are created by people pushing the logical limits of what works and goes together to create something totally unique.. OR
personally speaking I was doing a passed over reading the other day and the lady asked me something I kept hear casper the friendly ghost now logically I thought I can't say that, that is ridiculous.. however my creative mind is at work in readings no logic involved and once logic steps in then I can kiss the connection goodbye.... I passed on what I saw it turned out that they had just had a new Grandson born and he was named Jasper...

Logically why they couldn't' tell me Jasper is beyond me..
