CharitiesI do sometimes give to charity.
I also give to my local parish church although I am not a practising Christian.
I had occasion to meet a man a while back and he teamed up with us to play golf.
We caught him cheating on several occasions and in the end called him a cheating c**t and he went on to another little party and plays with them. Nowadays we just refer to him as the c**t.
That is how much most men dislike cheats so sorry for the language but there you are.
Turns out that he is an accountant for a big charity and was last year presented to the Queen and given an OBE for services to charity.
Needless to say he is a Freemason.
One week after receiving his OBE he is heard boasting that he has just been approached for his first consultancy with a large firm in the city.
Know what.
It sums up how things work to me.
The bigger the c**t the better the pay.
I will not give to large charities ever again.
It is jobs for the boys.
Am I wrong?

What shocks me is it has taken you this long to work that out.
I'd go so far as to say the bigger the c**t you are the better off you are in life generally.
The only person to ever do well out of being nice was Mother Teresa - and even she died penniless with a teatowel on her head.

the only people in charities who are there for the honour of serving others are the little people in general.. everyone else is there to make money like you and I.. do we really expect others to be saints ?

Well in my naivety I actually did think that charity work was a vocation and I am certain that for some it is.
They start off small but when they grow they become just another business but one that doesn't have to pay tax on it's income.
Nice scam.
At least with a beggar in the street you have one on one contact and you know that be he a druggie an alcoholic or just plain down on his luck the money will be spent on that person.

i used to donate regularly to the red cross..... until a friend of mine was employed by them as a marketing manager on a six figure salary.... needless to say they don't get my hard earned cash now!!

This is Zebo.
Zebo is a 10 year old boy with one leg.
Zebo lives in a small African village, 7 miles from the nearest fresh water tap.

But don't worry because we have stolen, and are still stealling, the natural resources from Zebo's country and after we have stirred up enough unrest and killed enough locals in order to disract them from the fact that we are stealing from them we shall remove, with the help of your kind donations, Zebo's other leg in order that he wobbles less when trying to walk.

Im sick and tired of getting e mails from scammers saying they are the wife of the late so and so and they need to invest a larg sum of their late husbands money etc etc.
The sad thing is some dumb sob somewhere will actually respond to this type of carp and give them their bank details.
