Cats

I really love my cat.

He is lying on my desk helping me type in his own special way.

He's the first cat I've had and I'm so glad he chooses to be a part of my life.

I know there are alot of cat lovers on here so I thought I'd share that with you

(edited for helpful cat spelling mistake)

So I'm not the only one with a cat that can type then.

She can type very well it's just the spelling and grammer that's a bit naff.

Willow usually watches me from his bed with regal disdain but apparently tonight I'm proving a useful snuggling tool and in return he is helping me with the clicky board.

Yup but when you want them to come to you they vanish into the garden or just stare that cat stare of theirs and stay put.
Sian

Yes. That's what I never could understand. I spent years wondering why people raved on about how wonderful cats are.

I just saw an animal which does as it pleases, no loyalty, just using your resources.

Now I see those things differently and am immensly proud that my little waif of a rescue kitten has grown into a gorgeous tom. I totally understand the satisfaction of your cat coming home every day by choice. Choosing to snuggle up on my bed rather than adopting another family.

My independant puss is my friend because he wants to be.

I just wish he didn't feel the need to groom his nether regions on my bed.

When you have 2 male cats that do that it's even more annoying.

Any piccy's of your cat Sian?  This one is mine when I got her back in February... her name is Maggie.  She'll be 1 on the 20th November

mind you , i can't stay mad with them for too long... they are so funny and adorable!!  would love to upload a picture at this point... but am completely pants at anything vaguely technical!!!

They had to stop selling cat suites for the ladies around my area.

we are all aching to get another cat.. we are not allowed one in this house...  life really is very different without a cat.. we have had the pleasure o minding a friends cat on and off throughout the year and it just makes you clucky for another one

that is brilliant...and so true.... !!! again i refer to the cat nip incident.. two cats high on cat nip... doing the "wall of death!" at 5am... knocked over bedside table lamp ontop of dogs head.... chain reaction as you can imagine .....left a half asleep me, in the cross fire!!! i have the wounds to prove it!!!

That cartoon is sooo funny! I've seen it before, and it makes me giggle every time!

I have two cats as well - Pixie, who's now 15 and a bit geriatric, and Mosca, who at 3 is an independent little law unto herself............and is now sprawling in MY seat on the sofa, luxuriating in comfort!  If you want the best seat in the house, first move the cat!
Hunter

I agree with that last comment. One of our cats always wants to sit where I have been, as I'm his comfort !
