I will stretch your scepticism to the limit here.

In a circle that I was running we lit five candles. As we worked and the energies built the candles flickered out.

Five minutes later as we began to wind things down the candles burst back into flame.

Bear in mind that they were completely extinguished and when they relit they roared back into life..

I believe you David I have had something very similar happen to me. When in groups I find I have to have candles away from me they tend to burn totally down while the others in the room will have only burned a little

the first time it happened I didn't' notice that the candle next to me was like a bonfire ... but of course the rest of the room were all talking about it.......... I put it down to channelling energies through what do you think?

as for your candles relighting well you do know you are not in control of everything :P they were just reminding you

I did a reading the other week for a lady and said I had someone here for her .. told her who and all that she said she just wanted a clairvoyant reading.. well the next thing the clock was off the wall the tissues thrown cross the room and the tray of supplies dropped to the floor off the trolley...

you'd be right to think I let him come through after that
and you now that lady wasn't really too flustered I thought she did very well indeed

Wow guys! I'd be well impressed by that! I did wonder if perhaps the medium was manipulating the flame in someway with some form of telekinesis but the candle seem to move even when it was not being concentrated upon, for instance he was communicating with a spirit that was earth bound to help guide lost souls. The medium asked him to go and get one of said souls and blow the candle upon his return. A few minutes later whilst we was discussing the phenomena we saw before us the candle flickered to mark the guides return.

So what do you believe effects the flame? Obviously fire has energy so there's gotta be a clue in that.

In the first seance we decided to light a couple of tea lights to avoid sitting in complete darkness. Our Medium, Alan, took us through an energy building meditation and then continued to request any Spirit present to make contact, eventually they did....I cannot recall the question but when asked the two tea lights both reacted as though they ware being blown. Of course forever the sceptic I presumed this was due to the actions of someone in the group (voluntary or involuntary) but the same question was asked twice more and again the candles reacted, it was becoming more than a coincidence. And so it went on as the questions were asked they would move for yes and remain still for no! Unfortunately Alan blew out one of the tea lights when he tried to prove how much effort would be required from one of the group to effect the candle in such a way but one remained and continued to act as a communication tool between "our world and theirs".

After the seance above I discussed the phenomena with a fellow sceptic and we agreed that it would be good to be able to rule out the possibility of one of the participants effecting the candle in some way (again voluntary or involuntary). We decided to put the candle in a glass so that it could not be effected by an outside source, unfortunately though the glass created a vacuum of air around the candle which caused the flame to constantly fluctuate and make it's response to questioning incomprehendable. So the tea light communication was resumed without protection from the group. In all honesty I do not believe that the candle could have been manipulated the way it was by any member of the group, especially given the fact the the flame moved in different directions and even in a circular motion too. In my opinion this was definitely paranormal. Below is video evidence of this phenomena, as with everything on this site it is genuine and unaltered, I hope that it leaves you as convinced as I was:

TO be honest I havent' looked at your video yet I will when the kids are in bed... but the candle that burned totally was behind me... and no one was near it, the next closet person that was facing the candle was about three meters away..... and they had a candle closer to them that remained uneffected.. when I finished what I was doign the fellow just said we you owe me a new candle I saw slightly aware of a bright light around me but didn't pay any attention to it... my guess is that this much be a common thing chances are if it hapens to one it happens with many

From my experience I was open as a healer at the time so a great amount of energy was working through me I think that is what cause the candle to burn..

as far as flickering of candles that is a very common thing .. now I must see the video to see what you mean excately TEL :)

I love that you got it on camera that is just fantasitc... was it a male energy ??? what did the medium pick up?

:D .... you need a medium to bring something personal through for you ... that is really the only way you will lean towards believing...

for me the male is actually standing behind the man who is just highly impressed he appears to move between him and the woman who doesn't speak..

anyway I am skeptical myself and as a medium I guess that sounds strange... I dont 'think it is unhealthy though I think it is a good thing and I often tell clients that..
you should see people jump when you tell them how old there children are and what car they drive .. it tends to give them something very concrete to believe in...
perhaps try a medium who can do that you'll probably find it very imteresting :) although I think you have more belief in it that you say (or acknowledge) otherwise you wouldnt' be attempting to prove it :P just my thoughts

i have seen the candle flames rise and fall and actually make a cracking sound in circle.....
it has also happened to me when meditating alone.
