I was at my quickening meet on Tuesday and had a very interesting meditation.
It began by descending a stairway down to a beach and then walking along the beach. I sat in the sea for a while and the noticed that the sky and the sea were changing colour. i realised that i was observing them on a different level and that he change in hue was in fact a change in their vibration.
I then walked along the beach and over a small hill until I came to a large town, he buildings were mostly constructed from white Stone and although it seemed that this was in a hot middle eastern country there were thousands of men going to work all dressed in suits and cloth caps which was totally out of keeping with the place.
i entered a huge library and as i looked through the thousands of books i noticed on with a green jewel embedded in it.
I picked up the book and took it to a table to open and look at. As I sat down I noticed a nun sitting opposite me across the table. Suddenly she held a mirror in front of me and when I looked into it i was surprised to see the nuns reflection instead of my own.
She told me that nothing is as it seems and vanished. I then became aware that all around me had changed from being solid table chairs books etc to vibrations that were moving around and interacting.
The strange thing was that all of the objects were different vibrations and yet they were all one.

I am living a lie.
Emmmmm

Nah, he kicked that habit a long time ago.

Very funny.
I do intend trying to look further into the meditation and to see what I am trying to tell myself.

To me it is clear. What you saw was the truth of it. It is all vibration forming matter, which in turn makes potential into physicality. Essentially, all is energy, and the vibration determines what it is, but as vibrations change, so does the physical stuff.
Energy is not created or destroyed, it just changes state / vibration.
It is a simplicity, so simple that it seems impossible, inconceivable, but sometimes we do not need to look for a deeper meaning, as there just isn't one.

I have been pondering this ever since I had the meditation.
Meiah. You are correct in the elements of the process but the idea occurs to me that vibration cannot exist without matter nor matter without vibration.
Also neither vibration or matter can exist without consciousness.
Do you see where I am going with this.
All is motion but at the same time nothing moves.
I think of the Yin Yang symbol. It has movement but only within itself. and there is always a part of one within the other. a bit like a holographic image.
It answers all concepts of majik and mediumship and anything in fact that you may consider even healing.
Does the mind exist within the brain. Apparently not. Is consciousness contained within the mind/brain,. It would seem not.
All is illusion even the very concept that all is illusion

That vibration can exist without matter is Ok. But it cannot be detected without affect on matter. Perhaps?
That matter and vibration cannot exist without consciousness, I am not so sure about. That consciousness formed matter from vibrational energy I can see.
Ah, but that is a very linear way of thinking, and a timebound way of thinking.
I see where you are coming from. Yes.
That mind and consciousness are not contained within the brain, I agree with totally.
That mind and consciousness are different, I agree with totally.
To me, consciousness is awareness. It is how we interact and percieve things. There is no perception without conscousness, and yet these two concepts are individual.
Mind is not individual, and so in our conscious perception, we are part of, but do not see all that is the mind.
So is matter a result of consciousness, of individuality, or seperateness, which allow us to see mind from our own individual perspective.
But that in itself is a choice, and so is not fixed.
