An Essex Manor HouseThis is from Mark. I have moved it to this new thread.....
well how interesting was that last night david and anne, mediums picking up information, a lovely property and hosts ,a house in which much has happened ,and many stories to tell ,and a invite to return is nice ,far too much to do in one evening we will see if the videos and digital voice recorders have picked up anything ,isnt it interesting how some people are so scared of ghosts , our homes are not just ours ,we sometimes share with "others".......

Well as I drove home last night I realised that I had really enjoyed the evenings investigation. This property dates back to the 16th century and is a large house in spacious grounds. It is constructed of oak beams and red brick walls and has plenty of character.
This was to be a full investigation but as the evening wore on we came to realise that our historical researcher had so much to check out already that we would have to make a second trip to the manor house.
Nothing to do with the nice country pub nearby
A full report is going to be prepared and sent to the owner and I hope to get as much of that report on here as possible but frankly I don't see hoe so it will be an abbreviated version.
I find it absolutely fascinating that we can find out historical facts of which we had no prior knowledge and when researched they are accurate.
We picked up names and events and the place was lively to say the least.
Perhaps this report will bear me out on this, we shall see.
All in all a good night and another to look forward to.

Just a little snippet.
I picked up on some one in a sort of workshop pouring molten metal into moulds and making what I thought were medals.
Thing is I felt that although they were not actually making money in these moulds they regarded it as money.
I was very puzzled by this and was surprised when our historian lady told me that metal was very precious in those days and that I had probably picked up on them making buttons.
Sounds daft I know but apparently they did make buttons in just such a fashion and regarded them as tradeable items just like money.
I love psychic work.
Yes they will all tell you I get bored easily and can be a bit short but I really do enjoy working with genuine psychics and mediums.
I also never cease to be amazed at what you can pick up, and at the same time what you can learn whilst out on an investigation.

agreed David ,as we will be going back i no the report will have to wait until we've completed ,there are 2 researchers i believe who will work on this, there was so much there ,what made me smile was when "someone ",a medium psychic said they saw gambling going on in that room and your face ,it was exactly what you got as well, was a picture

Not just the gambling.
What about the sex and drugs.
Lucky sods.

I have just leaned that our researcher/historian has been doing her homework and has come up with some interesting details. We are not to be told just what she has uncovered as we will be returning to the venue for a second investigation in the near future.
Can't wait to see if what she has discovered fits in with our psychic input.
I really do think that this aspect of investigations is far more interesting than just looking for ghosts.

Well no one seems to want to put what they picked up on this forum it must have been a very dull evening unless we are waiting for more input from the researcher.
For my part I feel I am a little rusty at this ghost hunting lark as one of our team was zapped and I didn't prevent it happening.
In future I shall assume that some people cannot protect themselves even if they claim that they can and keep a careful watch on proceedings.
At the end of the day that is probably what I do best.

it was a good evening and what happens is graham and deborah have the recordings of what happened there and they are given a period of time to write this out ,which can take a month or so as they also listen to the evp ,then its all sent to the researcher who trys to collaborate whats there ,quite a task and then the report is done from there ,it would be nice if raymond and anne can add a bit here ,and i will put on here what the others have to add when they can ,they are at the moment looking at the potential evidence ,hopefully we have something

I don't really kinow what I can add except that I think it was a far more interesting evening for the mediums than it was for the non-mediums, though there was very little in the way of physical action the psychic action was rife.
It was very strange for me because there are so many layers of energy in that house that at one point I had to shut down because I was getting a bit of a headache with all the confusing images I was seeing.
I would leave one room where I was in WW2 and in the next room I was in Victorian times, even when I went to the toilet I was suddenly transported again and saw a gentlemen in Edwardian clothes (yeah I know, meeting men in toilets, yadda yadda yadda...)
It was a very interesting place and had I had the time I would have loved to have sorted through all the layers and pin-point something a little more specific.

I was not going to put this on but you may notice a mark on the face of the man at the back.
Coincidently he was the unfortunate person to be zapped in the head by what he described as a bolt of lightning.
You guessed it.
He was zapped in the head shortly after I took this picture.
