Re the original film:
Does it look real and convincing?
Yes. Its one of the best I have seen.

Is the original film of an actual alien?
No.

This whole "alien" thing really is getting quite ridiculous. Mr. Alien travels millions of light years across the universe just to have a peek in someone's window like a inter stellar peeping tom.

Oh come on!

And we have to believe all this because he 'blinks'. OH please, I've seen more convincing aliens on Dr. Who - the original series!!!

I suppose it will give plenty of spotty nerds something to bash their bishops about though.

I think that someone is spending a lot of time and money producing films that will obviously be shown to be fakes.

The question is WHY.

Now let's say a film of a real alien looking through a window did exist and you where concerned what would happen should that film get out into the public domain.

I know what I would do.

I would get in first with my own fake film and then when everybody finds the genuine alien film on utube I would say.

Seen it, its a proven fake.

For most people the assurance of someone they met in a pub that this was indeed a fake would be enough to make them dismiss the whole idea.
