A wonderful day in wonderful Greenwich.

If you live and work in London it's sometimes easy to forget of all the great places there are to go in the capital for a day out.

One of those places definately has to be Greenwich.

All the things of the place are truly a delight to both eye and ear. If you have some money to spend then a stroll around any of it's 'flea markets' is a must, if you don't have much spare cash then a stroll round the wonderful park is fantastic!

I still say Greenwich park is the best park I have ever been to, in or out of London.

For those of you who are within easy reach of Greenwich and haven't been there for a while I certainly suggest a Sunday visit soon.

That soup looks delicious and very well presented also.

Even if you do get almost a whole loaf of bread with it!

It was a shame I can't eat bread anymore.

its nearly like having IBS  when you get your tummy done...  the benefits out weigh the food though dont they?
Raymond

Oh absolutely! I was never much of a bread lover anyway.

I do miss the meat though.
evergreen

so is it mainly soup you eat now.. ?  I thought you may be able to eat meat if you chewed and chewed it.. Im wrong though
Raymond

I can have a little meat if it's chopped very finely - as in soup, but I can't have big chunks anymore.

Yes I mostly eat soup now. Anything 'mushy' is ok, mashed potato, custard, yogurt maybe some well cooked beans.

But there is so much I can't eat anymore.

But it's worth. I never would have lost 17 stone any other way.
evergreen

yeah it is a lot of weight to lose Raymond good on you...  :)  I want to lose 2 stone and can't shift that      grrrr
Raymond

There's one thing this surgery has taught me, there's only one way to lose weight. Eat less and do more.

Now that can be either through surgery or old fashioned will power, but it really is the only way to shift excess weight.
evergreen

yeah very true..... I walk 7 kms every second day and I do yoga...  but this has been the year of weight lol   too much sitting on butt working ...
