A Lammas spell for abundanceLammas is a time of abundance. A time when the fields and trees are full to bursting with their fruits and crop.
Each of us has a right to abundance in our lives, be that an abundance of wealth*, love, friends, happiness, health, whatever.
What better time than at Lammas to attract a greater degree of whatever it is you most want in your life.
On a Saturday take a gold or yellow candle and place it firmly in a sturdy candle holder on a flat surface.
Find eight representations of whatever it is you wish to attract in abundance.
If it's money* use eight coins, love could be eight love hearts made from red paper, friendship could be eight paper love hearts made from yellow paper, and so on...
Place the eight objects around the candle in a circle at the eight compass points.
Now, inscribe on the candle figures and sigils that represent you. Your starsign symbol, you birthdate, your numerology number and so on.
Also inscribe on it symbols representing the thing you wish to attract.
Sit quietly for a while and meditate on the thing you would most like an abundance of.
Don't visualise yourself getting the thing, see yourself as already having it and being happy with it and the changes and improvments it will make to your life.
Now open your eyes and light the candle, say:
"At this abundant time of Lammas.
As the God and Goddess give so freely of their gifts.
I ask for my fair share of .................
And accept it with thanks and gratitude.
With harm to none
So mote it be".
Allow the candle to burn down in equal measures everyday for 7 days.
Each day as you light the candle move the representaions of your desire slightly closer to the candle until on the final day all the objects are touching the candle and each other.
When the candle has finallt burned down take the remains of the wax and the objects outside and bury them in the ground.
Give thanks to the God and Goddess for filling your life with abundance in your own way.
Now wait for abundance to enter your life.

The good old days of spells 
Isn't Saturday a bit mleficent. 
I'd start a spell on a new moon and end on a full.
Unless I wanted to rid something then do it reverse.

These are 'easy to do' spells for folk who may just be dipping their toes. I will introduce the concept of moon phases at a later date Samjaza.

and good grief its raining men this week , dont' get me wrong I love attention but crud I'm a loyal lass so its rather off putting ....

To do that would be to influence the will of a specific individual and no offence but I don't think you're experienced enough in the realms of magick to start doing things like that.
Just enjoy the attention and keep it all light. If one of them stands out for you then make that the one you focus your energies on.

Ethical Witchcraft eh?
Isn't wearing perfume subtley altering the natural body odour into one of a pheremone blasting sexual entrapment, bending the will of otherwise apathetic suitors?
Or the wearing of make up to simulate orgasmic ecstacy.
Was often asked about love spells. I remember a quote from someone who said they could show how to bend the will of another to your ideal. But once they had they tools they wouldn't want to do it as it involves a great deal of sympathy. That is, to be the other person and be the other person falling in love with you. By being the other person correctly you'd probably feel their life and pain and reason how futile and invasive it is. You'd probably send them a big gush of health radiance and leave them alone.
The best spell is to make someone laugh, respected and wanted.
That said as far as wealth spells go... go for it.

Personally I don't have a problem with affecting somebody else's will. It's a dog eat dog world after all.
My only problem is people who try to do it without the first inkling of how to.
