So there I was in the hall in Glastonbury getting a really crap reading from a really good looking woman and wondering why I had spent my hard earned cash when I showed her my ring(yes I do know the words are a little unfortunate)

Anyway this stunning but totally crap medium said that the man on the stall opposite was a bit of an expert in such things as old gold rings with mysterious symbols on them.

After she had finished fishing and talking I popped over to this man and he explained that the ring was  Masonic ring probably from the 1800s and from a small side order who would have had a ring made for each person to identify the particular form of masonry that they where involved with.

He advised that it would a small group who would possibly have female members as one of the symbols was feminine.

I told him that pictures of the ring had been published in the Freemasons magazine and that they claimed it was not Masonic.

He explained that the main body of Masons would have no idea of these side orders and these separate orders would have been totally secret and not have made themselves known even to other Masons.

So the search goes on but I do feel that I am getting a little closer to the origins of this ring which as you will recall was found under the sea of the coast of Spain.
