As you know it is my policy to tell all when it comes to the cases that come my way. Well almost everything anyway.
i was out with another forum member on Monday investigating what at first glance seemed to have all the hallmarks of a poltergeist case.
After a little digging and intuitive working it would seem that we may be dealing with good old witchcraft.
we will keep you informed as the story unfolds and if the other member wants to put something on that would be good.

The investigation we are doing is very interesting indeed
when David and i arrived at the property it was very evident that something was happening here ,completely different to the many other investigations we have done
Anne will be joining us on a revisit and we can then explain what is occurring,there is so much misunderstanding with hauntings (at times)i feel and this place we visited is a typical scenario where i believe the owner does have a genuine problem with a energy,but also has created in the mind a way in which they
(well,one of them)mentally has been able to create something which is adding to the problem its as if adding some energy that creates negativity

We returned to the property last night. Anne joined us and we stayed for most of the evening.
I will not write it up at the moment as time is running out and I have things to do.

Sometimes things happen that make you realise that perhaps all of the other stuff that you have done and seen in life was real after all and that perhaps you are not mad. This case produced such an event. Although on second thought perhaps it proved beyond any doubt that I a barmy
I asked Anne to come with Mark and I, back to the troubled families house in Essex. I always like working with Anne because I know after all of the cases and places I have worked on with her that what ever she says is so, and you have to trust those who you work with when it comes to dealing with the paranormal.
As I said before the Husband in the house is a practising medical doctor and a psychiatrist and on this particular evening I just had to say to him"you are a psychiatrist, why on earth have you called us in, surely this goes against everything you know"?
His reply was simple. "After five years of this I have realised that there are things that none of us understand".
I realised that here was a beaten man.
So the story is simple enough. Here we have an educated hard working Moslem family who are close knit, and care for each other. Not always because they love each other but more because the culture and mother says they have to.
The Psychiatrists wife has a sister who came to this country six years ago and that according to the family this was when all of the trouble started. They had little respect for the sister because she is a sponger and is always after money and help. She was also extremely jealous of the families success and obvious wealthy lifestyle. Work is something that all of the family do, so there is more than a little resentment when they have to look after a sister who is lazy, but they do look after her just the same. Paying her rent sometimes and buying food etc.
This sister met an older man Back in Pakistan, he was in his fifties and she was in her early twenties. She apparently fell under his influence and to add a little spice to the stew he was also well known as an occultist of shall we say a dark nature who liked to tell everyone how he could curse people.
Back to the house,
The house in Essex had been plagued for the last six years by scratches appearing on all of the surfaces in the home. Glass table tops and granite worktops and just about everywhere. Also red marks kept appearing all over the place and although the family made sure that there was no red pens in the home the marks kept appearing.
Things became worse over the years and the husband almost died on two occasions (which can happen without majik of course) and the daughters started to wake up in the mornings with scratches on their bodies which they could not account for. The daughters are now practising medical doctors and intelligent girls so I had to take notice of this.
Mark Anne and I had all come to the conclusion that there was a strong possibility that someone had indeed been working against this household. We each came to this decision individually as we have a policy of not telling each other anything until we have deduced it for ourselves.
We began to link in and chatted about what we were going to do about the situation when Mark became a little fidgety. He told us that he was being scratched. I thought he meant he could sense it psychically but soon a four inch angry red scratch began to appear on his forehead. Then his back and hands and a nasty one on his right shoulder. "Look at this he said pointing to the scratches, which were so pronounced by now that there really was no need to show us where they were. Oh that's good I said. trying to take a little of the sting out of the situation. "We have them worried" I don't think Mark was to impressed but we carried on with what we were doing just the same.
After carrying out a full cleansing of the property with Anne and Mark we did what we always do and began to explain to these good people how to look after themselves. Mark explained that it was now up to them to take responsibility for their own lives, although of course we would return if needed.
I have given a slightly abbreviated version here because I would like Mark and Anne to tell the story from their points of view.
To sum it up the lazy sister and her boyfriend had we feel been working against this family. Possibly the sister was being used as she was under the control of the older occultist. The wife of the psychiatrist is a very negative person and I do feel that she is the weak link in the whole scenario. She will have to become more assertive because if she does not then they will always have problems.
The lord helps those who help themselves and if it's good enough for him it's good enough for me. Although as I said before. If we have to we will go back. _________________ Please visit our main site

I'm sorry to say Mr. Hobbs but I feel you handled this case all wrong.
After we spoke on the telephone the other day I though long and hard about this case and of course this family (however 'nice' they may be) are going to play the 'hard-done-by's' because they want all this to stop.
When I'm called into things such as this I want to know all the details before I act.
At the very least you could have done a tarot reading to gain more insight.
I'm sure this family is very nice and I'm sure they were very nice to you when you visited them but you don't know the reason why this "black magickcian" is doing what does.
He may feel perfectly justified to torment this family over some terrible misdamenour that committed but haven't told you about.
This chap sounds very skilled in the craft to be able to inflict this kind of disruption over such a long time. I just hope he doesn't turn his attention toward yourself, Anne and Mark.
You don't solve a problem by moving it onto yourself.
I know if it were me who had put all that effort into my work for something I felt totally justified about and you lot came along and undid all my work I'd be pretty pissed off.
I just hope you haven't opened a can of worms.

harsh words Raymond, but I say that with the greatest respect to you. Perhaps we all see things differently, and as Dave said he only gave a small synopsis of the night. Anyway, as per usual both Dave and Mark had told me nothing of their previous visit. As soon as I walked into the beautiful house I had to rush for the front door as I felt phisically sick. Of course we cannot interfere in relegious beliefs, and although I felt the Sister in her jealousy was playing mind games with the Wife, really that is up to them to sort out. We can only give our sympathy and understanding. Going back to the hall where I felt so ill.....To me it was as though there was a gaping hole in the floor through which some energy was coming through. Not a nice energy at that. Knowing nothing of what Mark saw on the previous visit, I said that I could "see" goblin type creatures. I was then told that the house was littered with scratch marks, on the furniture and tables. Then of course we had the scratch marks on Mark. Apparantly the scratching etc. only appeared after the extension to the hall had been built. I could sense bones beneath the hall, but was told the house was built on a pig farm, so that really answered that. I could go on and on but I wont. I look forward to any comments and input.
the lady was so depressed about what was going on in her home,and things had got to her and she had a few people try to help her,i will try my best to help anyone and i felt what happening was detrimental to her health ,someone so low in there self and to be able to help is what i like to do ,she didn't feel what happened when she received assistance before helped and was crying out for help ,i was able to do psychometry initially ,then i psychically was able to get some info and then saw a photo of her sister ,again i believed i was able to get info there,the husband was supportive and i feel he just tries to get a balance on what was happening .when Dave and i did psychometry we also got the same thing which was interesting ,and we all basically was able to get the same info on what we felt we was picking up,when i am around people i generally feel i can see if there intent is good ,and these people were in my opinion.when i used my healing on the lady i also was able to feel that she was drained ,someone so sad and there is no need,and i believe i helped her .she has called me and is so happy ,she sounded more positive and says to thank Anne and David,and that she got the best nights sleep she has had for a long time after we left and that is good enough for me .Anne is very experienced in this type of work ,and David ,well mmmmmm well he doesn't like compliments really ,so ill say no more ....
what i saw initially at this place was a little creature ,very strange in the garden ,Ive seen them b4 at my home here in Canewdon but they are a new thing to me ,so i was a bit amazed as you can maybe imagine ,i went there with the intent to help and felt i was guided in a way i don't always work with Dave and Anne but i really felt i needed them and not my own team in this one ,its quite difficult to explain this in detail ,i have tried here , thanks Anne and Dave ,its nice that the owner is seemingly happy and they will get on with there lives .........hopefully _________________ my website is www.hauntedessex.com

Yes that's all very nice Mr. Hobbs but as far as I can tell all you've done is psychically cleanse the house - please correct me if I've misunderstood that bit.
Getting rid of a ghost or unwelcome spirit is a whole different ball game than fighting a real life, living, breathing practicioner of magick - especially one who sounds so well versed in the darker arts, (trust me, I've had to do it often enough myself).
Things will be better for a time because your cleansing will have cleared the energy build up in the house but as far as I can see from your posts you haven't dealt with the root cause - the magickcian himself. Again, please correct if I am wrong on this.
He will be free to continue his workings and the house will be back to square one within six months.
Harsh words Anne? Well okay, but I prefer to call them experienced words.
Well Raymond, I do of course understand what you are saying..indeed asticky plaster will not heal a gaping wound. I can say no more than we believe we have tackled the "root" of the cause. I will also say that the mind is fragile and I believe that if one is told year after year that a certain "thing" will happen.....it does.....brainwashing comes to mind.
We arrived back at the house at around 7.45pm and found to our delight that we were being treated to a vast assortment of sandwiches and cakes. Good job there were plenty as we now had another friend with us so we numbered four in all. The new friends forte lay in being able to see what she called "tied to the Earth spirits" or at least I think that was what she said. Whatever it was it would help as she like Anne has the sight and mine is very patchy.
The atmosphere in the house was again a lot better that it had been and the lady of the house complied with that observation.
Still something was nagging at the back of my mind though. I was comfortable physically but I just new that there was something amiss, something still hidden from me and I needed to know what that something was.
We chatted for a while and eat some of the food provided whilst our new friend walked about the house using her favoured dowsing rods to see if she could pick up any lines of energy running through the property.
When she had finished it emerged that she could see something in the home. It was something, rather than someone. In other words what we have come to know as an elemental type being. It was accompanied by two other smaller subservients. We had told her nothing of our previous visits to the home so when she pinpointed the area that this entity seemed to favour as exactly the same spot that Anne had pinpointed in this very large house on our previous visit I felt that here perhaps we may have finally found the problem. Not a ghost or a curse but a good old elemental entity just doing what they do. Causing problems.
We decided, after much discussion, on the necessary course of action.
We asked our hostess to go to her room and pray as she would do most days. We felt that we needed to be alone to work this time as we were going to call in the quarters and go for it once and for all.
All the while our mischievous friend was attempting to hide but our two psychics had it tagged so I decided firstly to walk a circle of light around the entity who was by all accounts standing and laughing at us. Well I like a bit of bravado because now we have something to work with. I walked the circle of light around us, and the entity ,so that it could not escape. I don't think that it was too happy at the situation that was developing and was beginning to realise that the game might finally be up.
Now with the entity bound and having called upon the quarters we managed after quite a struggle to sent it back from whence it came.
The oddest thing was that upon it's departure I saw it vanish through what I can only describe as a vagina. I was struck with the thought that here was no banishing but rather a re-birth.
I have given the bare bones only here and if the others who were there wish to put their sides of the story on here then that would be all to the good.
I have told it from my angle and my angle only. I also realise that if I had listened to Anne more closely on her first visit we could have settled this problem before.
