Hiya, if anyone can help me shed some light on a dream I had the night before last.
I was at work and decided to go for a coffee over looking the canal, the day was afternoon time about 5 - 6pm, calm weather, when all of a sudden I became aware of a face in the canal and at first I thought it was human but I then realised it was swimming towards me under the water at which point my boyfriend came to join me. I pointed this face that was under the water and that it was getting closer then I realised it was a Polar Bear. There was also a brown bear with 2 cubs on the opposite bank a bit further up. Although they were there I just kept my eye on them. The polar bear on the other hand started toward sand was slowly getting out of the canal at which I shouted to my boyfriend to get moving... I was starting to make my way out down a narrow flight of stairs.. half way down there was a toilet, so I dived in there locking the door... I could hear my fella running down the stairs too. He went past the loo but then the polar bear came by and I realised that the bear would be able to smell me (not going to the loo but being in there hiding ) He stayed outside for a minute then moved on. When I thought it was clear, I went out into our work area to find all the shops empty of any stock. I felt that there was something going on but I wasn't sure what. I then came across someone that was in the area who told me that there was going to be a bit of decorating going on at which I wondered what happened to my stock as MT boyfriend never mentioned anything to me but after asking him about it he told me the stock was fine... then I woke up. Any ideas I can only say that throughout my dream I was aware always that although the polar bear was beautiful, I was aware that the can be vicious. |

I think perhaps you like the rest of us have heard about the plight of the Polar Bears now that the ice cap is melting.
That I think is playing out in your dream.
OK let's get really wild now even if most dreams are just your mind getting rid of it's garbage.
In time of recession it is hardly surprising that shops have not stock.
I do hope it is not a prophetic dream.
Is business very bad at the moment and you are trying to hide from that fact and your boyfriend is saying that it will all be OK but you don't think so or perhaps escape from it. ie in the toilet. _________________ Please visit our main site |

| I have to disagree on that David. I know what you mean about the ice caps melting but its not in my mind and hasn't been for a whlie. I haven't had any conversations about polar bears either. The empty shop was down to redecorating. So I think its more about what the polar bear represents. But what?! |

This is where dream interpretation falls on it's arse for me.
Wacky, what does a polar bear mean tou YOU?
What it means to me or Hobbs could be very, very different to what it means to you. |

Things do not have to be in your conscious mind to come out in dreams.
I can interpret most meditations and dreams that people on a path have but some dreams symbols are unique to the dreamer as Raymond points out.
So what does a Polar Bear mean to you? _________________ Please visit our main site |

| I woke up and asked myseld that very thing... I see a polar bear to be looking beautiful but I know they're quite ferocious. This is why I was terrified in my dream... They look good but are dangerous. |

There you are then. I would say the point of this dream was to warn you not to get too close to something that may seem appealing.
Keep a safe distance but enjoy it for what it is.
