The Leonid shower is on right now. If you read this on sunday 12/8 go outside and see them. Its too cloudy in scotland tonight but it its the best meteor shower and worth seeing.

Cheers KJ. We went to Bradwell on Sea in Essex and had a good clear sky. They were coming in thick and fast.

I tried to stay awake but no, I had to set the alarm for 2am. When the alarm went off, I couldn't be bothered to go and have a look...I was just far toooo tired. :roll: Maybe next time! :D

Next year I will carry you down the stairs and lay you down on the grass and you can watch them on your back...whilst I fumble about in the moonlight.....looking for my telescope :D

Get one, I have one and I love it. I bought mine about 5 years ago and I never tire of it. I got mine for about £300.00, I'm wanting to get a better one or a more updated one but it'll have to wait for now :roll: Finances and all!! :roll:

Wow, this is an old, OLD thread.... 2007   Funnily enough, theres a meteor shower tonight, the dust from Haley's Comet no less!

I was actually talking about a real telescope but I bet the boys were talking about their penis'!
