For those of you who have picked up entities on your investigations or vigils, how far back in history have you managed to pick up an entity or residual energy that is linked with buildings and places?

I picked up on 12th century fryers at Tamworth Castle a couple of weeks ago.

I once picked up on some sort of celebration going on at Avebury circle. I really couldn't pin a time period to it though.

Now I'm not being flippant so please don't think I am, but when I had my dog put to sleep that same evening I woken up by a single bark coming from my hallway.
It was definately my dog's bark. Firstly, there was no other dog in the house and secondly, anyone who's owned a dog for a long time gets to recognise their dogs' particular bark.

Or at least I think so. I could recognise my dogs' bark, does anybody else find that?

The ghost of my dog (which was a great dane) sat on my knee 2 days after it was put down & bizarre as it may seem it had the same weight as when it was alive. Also I saw it disappear a few times round a corner, just it's back end. My father also heard her bark several times.l

My baby Horace a beautiful female cat of thirteen years had to be put down 4 weeks ago Wednesday due to a fast growing and un-operable tumour on her tongue.  She had got to the stage of not being able to eat, and drinking was becoming too difficult for her.

I stayed with her and cuddled her and was allowed to stay with her for a good 10 minutes after she had gone.

On the Friday evening, I went on a Ghost hunt at Tamworth Castle.
At one point I thought a small child was trying to hide behind me as I could feel a gentle pressure by my back and shoulder as I was sitting in one of the bedrooms.  I was told by the medium that I had a cat behind me.

Later that night A message came from another medium that my cat was with me.

I had not told any one there I lost my precious cat.

Towards the end of the evening I got a message from another enitiy saying she had got my cat and she was ok.

This to me was such a relief that she had forgiven me for having her put to sleep.

I have her litter sister Flea at home, and I am sure both myself and Flea have seen and heard her around the house.  I have even felt her stoke my face and nose with her paw (as she did in life) since she has gone.

I know my 3 dogs who have passed over the years often visit me, as I sometimes see them, smell them, or feel them either resting against my legs or lying on my feet, as they used to do when alive.

I find it quite interesting this whole subject of spirits of pets.

The woman who runs my local spiritual church told me once that her dog used to sleep next to her bed at night and when she woke up in the morning the dog would get up and the floor where her feet would go before she put her slippers on was always warm from where the dog had slept.

This dog has been dead for a number of years now but she still says that on cold mornings the floor is still quite warm when she gets out of bed on the same patch where the dog used to sleep.
