I was watching a film yesterday on one of the channels - I don't even remember what the film was called, but there was a line in it that made me sit up a take notice, so much so I wrote it down in my book.
In the film a lady had just lost her friend to Aids and was outside the hospital crying, a young man (who was a Mormon) asked her if she was ok.
She explained to him about her friend's death and said she didn't unterstand why her friend had to die so young and if there was a god why did he allow such things to happen.
The young Mormon said that when you are a person it's like looking at a comic book too close. All you see are a jumble of coloured dots and none of it makes any sense.
People look at life too closely because they are involved in it. They look so closely that all they see are coloured dots and none of it makes any sense.
God* doesn't look too closely. God* sees the whole picture.
