So apart from answering questions that I presume can't be answered unless it's somebody's opinion, what exactly does this group do?
Do you sit on hilltops waiting for UFO's to fly over?
Ghost hunters are a strange mob, but at least there are places we can go to spot a ghost, where can a UFO hunter go - surely a UFO flying over is pretty hit or miss.
Ufology involves a lot of investigative work, there are quite a few cases with many hundreds of witnesses sometimes, so a lot of it involves the ufologists trying to ascertain what any particular sighting was.
In my experience, a great ufologist is one who is pretty much sceptical of every sighting but does retain the belief as to the possibility that this planet is/or has experienced some visits from other intelligent life forms. _________________

I know many find it hard to believe but I am a sceptic by nature. I will not just believe something until
1) I am totally convinced it is for real
2) I have seen undenyable evidence of it
3) Personally experienced evidence of it
Can't say I have had any of the above when it comes to UFO's.
