Bravo.

I think it would be great if people surfing or members looking for a certain topic had a search box.

Just type in the required topic and up it comes.

Just a dream of course but to me it would provide a wonderful tool for research and ease of navigation and improve the already excellent facilities provided by MFF

It would be really usefull if we could send other members private messages. Probably too complicated to do though.

I think it would be really nice if we could give each other big furry cyber hugs.

My wife reads all manuals, instructions etc.  I bought her a camcorder for Christmas and she'd read the manual throughout before she even took it out of the box

Me?  I get it out and wait until it's either broke or I'm stuck before I even look at a manual.

Next year, I'm just gonna get her a bunch of manuals as a Christmas present, she ought to like that I think...

sounds like she'd love that

I don't read manuals either... I always thought it was men who read them cause they seem to be the ones who write them too

What we could do with is somehow sending a small electrical charge to the keyboard of 'Mr Hobbs', I mean the 'poster', that starts up two threads about the same thing. I.e Ectoplasm, Tony Robinson etc etc?

Just a thought.

I do realise that but I don't know how to move posts from one place to the other to combine the threads.

Ahhhh

Just got a shock.

You could always not start another thread in the first place?
