I sometimes receive emails or PMs asking for advice. If the folks involved are close by then I will always try to visit. It is always a frustration for me when they just live too far away. Such is the case here.
Anyone live in North Staffs?. Anyone who knows what they are doing that is!
email as follows. I have changed the names.
Hello David
Mick and Leisha here
Thank you for your reply to the email that we sent you, a little history on the matter i have lived here for nine years my partner leisha has been living here for a year when i first moved here there were a few occasions when i thought i was being burgled as i could hear someone moving around down stairs so i would creep down stairs but would never find anything, i just would put it down to the fact that its an old house but the plastic fish that was kept in the bathroom window started to laugh on its own ,
i would press it from time to time as i found it amusing it had no battery it was powered by a compression bellow and you needed to press its dorsal fin to generate the laugh that it made ,
to my surprise on a number of occasions it laughed on its own at the time i had started to work regular nights and so only slept here at night at the weekend but on one occasion at the bottom of the stairs i though i could see a sort of mist at the bottom
of the stairs but put it down to waking up in the night and being half asleep !
my neighbours partner did mention to me that when i had gone to work on the night shift she would have to look out of her window to see if my car was still parked outside as she could some times hear light switches being used and someone walking up the stairs in my house her partner Roy would laugh about it she also says that she has seen the figure of an old lady wearing night clothes at the bottom of their stairs and an orb of light i didn't think it was possible to see such a thing with the naked eye
unless it was ball lightning i do take some of what she has told me with a pinch of salt but knowing of the things that of happened in our home i know that some things cannot be explained by science alone,
since my partner moved in with me things started to happen again she would press the fin on the fish every time she visited the bathroom i could hear it from the lounge i was pleased that she found it funny and wasn't afraid of the house as at the time i was still working regular nights i had told her the house had a presence but not evil just mischievous on one of her visits to the bathroom i heard the laughing fish followed by a scream i ran to the bathroom Liesa was very upset she swore she hadn't touched it i calmed her down she went up to the main bedroom she screamed again things in the room had been moved Cd's money bank turned upside down jewellery box upside down and on the floor and a rag doll that was kept in a chair was flat on the floor we had a cat that used to visit i told her that the cat could of done it although i checked the room and the rest of the house it wasn't to be seen we put everything in its place checked the room again for the cat no sign of it the window was closed we closed the door and went down stairs but i some how knew that i was going to see more i went back to the bedroom about five minuets later everything was as it should be apart from the rag doll it was out of the chair but not on the floor this time but face down in the middle of our bed ! All this happened months ago and we have recently had a dog and things seemed to go quiet, until a few weeks ago when objects seemed to move again although we had never actually seen them move until a few days ago. _________________ Please visit our main site
I live in part of what was known as south Staffordshire, before we were roped in to be in the west midlands.
I am also on the border of the black country too.
I am trying to decide where next to book a paranormal evening in my area... LOL
