I still have not found time to do the write up yet.

Soon I hope.

Perhaps Mark might like to start the ball rolling.

Like Mark said it is great to go out with a group and know that they all work well together.  No super stars so to speak.

Anyway.

We set off for the south of Suffolk, going to a destination that turned out to be a private house in Bury St Edmund's.  The owner and hostess had also invited her son around for the evening who it turns out has been having psychic experiences.  So already this case was beginning to fit into the picture of many households that I have visited over the years.
Namely, the residents were sensitive to the kind of phenomena that we like to investigate.

Upon entering we discovered that the lady of the house had prepared lots of food for us all and it seemed half of the street.  Invo's are defiantly looking up these days.

After a lot of people going from room to room and cameras and all manor of electrical devices being set up I had already come to the realisation that I was drawn to one particular room in the house that I had not even been into yet.  And that I needed to have time alone to work with the son to teach him to open and close himself at will instead of constantly being bombarded with unwanted psychic input.  I did that later in the evening when the opportunity arose.

I was intrigued to learn from the lady of the house that she and her friend had sat in the garden in the Summer and had witnessed football sized lights coming toward them.  This it seemed had happened a few times.  I have seen these lights myself in the past so when I questioned her about them and how she felt I realised that this was not a made up story but rather something real was going on here.  I would love to sit in that garden on a Summers evening and just try to see this phenomena again for myself.
The team walked down the ancient footpath that ran alongside the property and took lot's of pictures. Perhaps I will put some of them on here.  I have to be careful though not to give to much information about the location as we always protect the identity of the people who are involved.

hen the investigation reached a level of weirdness that I am used to, but always surprised me when I encounter it, namely an elemental it seems was playing tricks around the house.  That was the input that I was given by the group and guess what? I was elected to do something about it.

After quite a long struggle with an entity that quite frankly had no intention of going anywhere, but was eventualy persuaded to leave,  the evenings investigation was closed.

Now for the important bit.  The cakes and rolls were excellent especially when washed down with a good coffee.

I have put here around 5% of what took place but I do hope that it gives you an Idea of what happened.

If the others who were there would like to write something then all well and good.  If not, well never mind.

The lights that came toward the lady of the house and her friend came from the trees in the picture and along the fence.

Although they were bright they did not light up the surrounding area at all.

I have seen these type of lights myself in Rendlesham Forest.

They are brilliant but do not illuminate even the nearest objects.

I often ponder what type of light is it that can defy the laws of physics.

Any ideas anyone.

The strangest thing about them is the feeling of connectedness between the observer and the observed.

To me there is a definite contact/interaction without words going on between these lights and those who have observed them.

I also feel that they do not just randomly appear but rather (come to meet you) if deemed necessary, they decide, not you.

I suppose you have to experience it to understand.

Well i have been know to creep about in the woods in the dead of night.

Possibly elementals. I'm reading a very good book at the moment about how to see and work with Fairies.

You have to get over the 'Walt Disney' bit to understand them totally.

You say them, as if they exist.

Do you believe that Fairies exist?

Absolutely.

Like I say, you have to get over the whole 'Tinkerbell' thing before you can understand them.

I have never dreamed of associating fairies with Tinkerbell although I'm a great Disney fan.
Raymond, have you seen fairies-no funny puns please.

Fairies, like all fey folk (or wild folk) are the spirit of nature. They dwell wherever nature grows wild.
They can take any form they wish when showing themselves to the physical eye, usually it's a human form to make it easier for us to relate to, but it can be balls of light, a flame or even a wisp of smoke.

Their realm (which is called Elphame) is overlaid with ours but not as dense, that's why we can't see them all the time.

I've seen fairies on various occasions (no I wasn't on anything at the time) and much rarer I've also seen a Gnome. Gnomes don't visit the human world that often so I feel very blessed that I saw one.

Fairies (usually) like to interact with humans, and, if you follow the rules they're quite happy to show themselves to you.

So do you feel that the football sized lights that interacted with the family were in fact faeries or fairy lights of some kind?

And if so they can actually be called forth at will?

I can't say Yes or No, I wasn't there. I have seen similar and put it down to fey lights. The bit about them being bright but not actually illuminating anything around them leads me to suspect they are probably fairies.

(Just to point out, when talking about Fairies it's usual to spell it 'Faerie' if you mean earth spirits, and 'Fairy' if you mean cartoon characters. A bit like 'Magic' and 'Magick'.)

You can't summon them at will but if the place is a regular faerie haunting spot them they will be seen a lot.

I'd like to have a look at the place and see if there are any Faerie clues. Earthmounds, Faerie rings, etc,. depending on the trees and plants that grow nearby can contribute to whether or not the place is a faerie haunt.
